I remember that MTV SY video contest, A Drunken Butterfly video won that contest, but I think your video is really good, thanks for sharing it. Definately my all-time favourite Sonic Youth song.

cool. I definitely like it. The video scenes follow perfectly the lyrics. Was it shot in the 90's or did you just use an old camera with an old tape to film the children and the streets of the neighbours?
Do you know that some years ago sonic youth organized a challenge or a competition for ”the best sonic youth fans’ home made video”? The best videos were published on their official DVD.

Thanks for your kind words. I entered that contest with this video. It was held by MTV when they used to air alternative videos at midnight till 2 am on Sundays back in the early 90's. I used movie clips and some stuff I shot with family and friends on 8mm tape. Then using two 8mm camaras, I spliced it together. I lost to some guy who did a puppet show.
