Ashley was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma and Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) and received her transplant at age 19. Having experienced two cancer diagnoses, Ashley was a partner with her doctors throughout her transplant. Since transplant, Ashley returned to college. However, she actively monitors her health and gets regular follow up exams

Im 20 now, but was dignosed with Leukemia (APL) when I was 19 (Just this last year on March 7th 2010) Its been a year since, and Im glad to say Im cured as well. I can TOTALLy relate to everything Ashley mentioned she went through, and all the comments about the experiance.
Its really nice to know that there are other girls JUST like myself out there, who had to experiance having to go through such a fight.
