2.2.1 IPOD TOUCH SAFE MODE PROBLEM WHEN TURNING OFF TUTORIAL (SEE DESCRIPTION)

DO NOT WATCH IF YOU'RE IPOD TOUCH IS NOT JAILBROKEN!!! THIS IS A TUTORIAL FOR JAILBROKEN IPOD TOUCH WITH 2.0.1 - 2.2.1 FIRMWARE!

This is a tutorial for those of you who cannot turn off your iPod Touch without it turning itself back on in Safe Mode. This will show you how to fix that problem without restoring your iPod or getting rid of WinterBoard. If you do NOT have Kate/Ripdev Preferences installed, please ignore this video.

I know it may be hard to understand what I'm saying during the video, so here are the simple steps to solving this problem:

Step 1) After trying to power off your iPod, it will restart itself and a message will appear saying that it is in safe mode. Press RESTART.

Step 2) Click on Installer.

Step 3) Click Categories (located on the bottom left)

Step 4) Click Installed Packages.

Step 5) Click Kate

Step 6) Click Uninstall (located at the top right)

Step 7) Click Ripdev Preferences

Step 8) Click Uninstall (located at the top right)

Step 9) Wait for your iPod to restart ON ITS OWN (you may have to hit the home button if it isn't restarting)

Step 10) The safe mode message will appear again. Hit RESTART.

YOU'RE DONE! Your iPod should power off without restarting in safe mode now. If the message still appears, it may be something else that is causing it to appear. This could be the WinterBoard or possibly your iPod is corrupt. Try following other tutorials on this and if it still doesn't work, you may be stuck restoring your iPod.

PLZZZZZZZZ help!!!!!!!!!!! i deleted springboard app from ifile and i was in safe mode and now it is frowzen i CANNOT RESTORE IT FOR SOME REASON!!!!! when i try to restore it it says it cannot download the resources to restore PLZZZZZZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got stuck in safe mode once winterboard crashed so i deleted winterboared and clicked exit sefe mode and re downloaded it it never entered safe mode again

No fucking help!!! Err1 readin dis!! Wen u stuck in safe mode go to Cydia ND remove de last shit u dounloaded. If it worked for u great. If not sucks ta b u.
