There's some fucking idiots on here. Just because a drummer is faster doesn't mean he's better. Yeah, George Kollias is better than Mike, but he has to be. Imagine George's blasting every 5 seconds in a Disturbed song, it just wouldn't work. Mike is perfect for Disturbed which is the whole point. The songs are supposed to be powerful and driving, and Mike's drums with Dan's guitar is quality. I'm sure people will disagree when I say Gavin Harrison is better than George, but not in Death Metal.

At least Mike plays drums the old way, just a bit lower. I love how he plays like all great drummers before him did. With that i mean maiden / priest / sabbath etc.
Lots of feeling and no random smashing his drums to make as much noise as possible as alot of newer bands do.

@Sl3yer1o7 Soooo your a drummer without a drum kit?, or simply an admirer?, cos if your a drummer what the hell are you doing with no kit???, its like the first thing i got within a week of learing to play some 18 years ago!.
Get a kit mate, Pots and pans just dont cut it.

Mike is by far my favorite drummer. The way he can incorporate all his cymbals and toms in his songs is amazing. And his double bass is perfect... Not to fast but perfect timing and all. He's the best
