Founded in January 2011 by Rodolfo Bassani (drums), Renato Sgarbi (vocals), Gustavo Lozano (guitars) and José "Motor" Mantovani (bass) under the moniker of Desecrated Sphere.
Influenced by a plethora of musical styles, have created their own individual sound, originated from their project with former band Collapse NR, which is marked just as much by the savage growling as the edgy sound of their lyrics, brutal riffs, insane bassdrum work and quick-as-lightning blast beats. The required visual inspiration for this musical journey is provided by courtesy of lyrics about religious and political control of the masses, ignorance, catastrophes and the destruction of nature by human hands. The name Desecrated Sphere, a symbol for the continual defilement of our world, suits this concept to a tee.
The band launched independently, in Brazil, April 2011, their first full-length album, titled The Unmasking Reality and containing 10 tracks, thus joining the new and promising wave of Brazilian heavy music.
