Twinrova beaten without taking damage. Played in real time on Mupen64 0.5 re-recording v2.

This is the fight where your new Mirror Shield really shines (ha ha, get it?) because you'll be using it to reflect Koume's and Kotake's attacks back into one another. As they fly around the room, watch for one of them to stop and form a magic circle in front of them—this means she's about to fire a beam of fire or ice at you, depending on which sister it is. Stand as far away as you can get, face the attacking one while untargeted, and raise your shield. Wait for the beam to strike your shield and then use the control stick to deflect it into the other sister as she continues to fly around.

After taking enough of a beating that way Koume and Kotake will combine into Twinrova. During this second half of the fight, keep her targeted and stand in the center of the platform with your shield raised. (Dancing around as in the video is unnecessary but fun.) She'll fire either fire or ice at you, which the Mirror Shield will absorb. Your goal here is to absorb three shots of the same type in a row in order to discharge the absorbed energy back at Twinrova, stunning her and allowing you to attack with your sword. If she fires the wrong type of shot, quickly side step over to the edge of the platform to avoid being hit by it or having it reset the charge in the Mirror Shield.

And yes, I dodged that third fire shot on purpose to show the area of effect that the shots have. She tends to fire them in threes, so if things go well you shouldn't have to dodge much, if at all.

  • well, good job dude, but u need to learn more about Zelda :D, well there's an easier way to make huge dmg - just like the dmg of jump atk - by crouch stabbing (press the shield button without Z target then sword button), crouch stabbing take the dmg of the last hit performed, so if jump atk, then crouch stabbing make the same dmg, twinrova's hp is 24 pts and jump atk with master sword is 4 pts, so u just need to jump atk 1 time and 5 crouch stabs after it to finish the battle faster in 6 atks :D

  • @illidan91111 I've known about the crouch stab glitch for a long time. I purposely didn't use it in any of my videos to keep the fights from being over too fast.

  • @Desbreko Is the Mirror Shield able to block regular attacks or just magic?

  • @GalaxyMario242 It can also block everything that the Hylian Shield can, but it won't reflect physical projectiles like the rocks that Octoroks spit; they'll just break when they hit the Mirror Shield.
