I believe you're looking for the word blasphemous, but you are wrong. Your wooden application of Scripture is Pharisaical. Engaging in idolatry is wrong, but idolatry is largely a heart issue. Remember how Paul told believers to handle the issue of eating meat offered to idols. When a idol worshiper did it, it was sin. However, believers were free to engage in the same act with a pure heart and were none the worse for it. 1 Cor 8:4-8
To say that The messiah was born on December 25th is a lie . To "Christianize" December 25th as the birthday of The Messiah is utter nonsense. How can anybody thinks by taking a set date to honor a Pagan deity and "Christianize" that same date it makes it alright in Father YHVH or The Hebrev Messiah Yahushua eyes . That one of the most blaspheme thing to do according to the bible .
Christianity is about redemption, the redemption of all creation, including pagan holidays. Christ can transform our broken souls...and He can transform a day set aside for idolatry into one bringing glory to Him. All the days of the year belong to Him, including December 25th.
Christmas is not about Christ or honoring his birthday . The day on which many misguided people think they are commemorate the birth of Christ, are really partaken in pagan rituals, that center on tree worship, false god worshiping, magic, and social exchange of gifts .The Star of Bethlehem is a, Pentagram symbol . Evergreen trees, mistletoe, wreaths, yule log , Santa Claus, stockings, comes from pagan traditions .
Repent of this pagan madness ans serve, Father YHVH
The following Sun-deities were all born on 25 December, according to their legends: Crishna (Vishnu), Mithra (Mithras), Osiris, Horus, Hercules, Dionysus (Bacchus), Tammuz, Indra, Buddha. Therein we also read of the Scandinavian goddess Frigga in whose honor a "Mother-night" festival was held at the winter solstice 25 December, as well as a similar great feast of Yule, where a boar was offered at the winter solstice in honor of Frey .
Contextually that is about idols (vs 8)...actually 'shaping' the wood w/ tools to be a 'god'. vs 3 (NASB, NIV, AMP)
Who do you know that proclaims to be Christian actually bows down to their tree and declares it to be a god?
On the contrary it is usually topped w/ an angle (liken to remind of those whom proclaimed the news to the shepherds) or a star (to which brought men from afar to find the true Light of the world).
