So I saw Santa giving the engine a little drink of alcohol right as the driver hit the fuel shut off....why is that? Is it to keep from damaging the engine upon shut off due to leaning it out....?

our crew chief pours it in the engine to keep the blower lubed and help chase all the nitro out of the system.
