Does it really hurt as much as everyone says?! I'm scared...

I mean, I'm not pregnant (yet) but, still, is it really that whole "undescribible pain" they talk about?

It didn't hurt, even with an 8.5 pound baby. :) Intense, but I slept through the first 2/3 of active labor and was completely unmedicated! Nothing to be afraid of, the body knows what it's doing. I recommend water birth, btw -- hard to worry in a hot tub.

I wanna have a baby when im older..And i was watching a birth vid and like her viggina was like cut kinda and blood everywhedre and it looked pain ful..Is it?

I swear birth vids are intended to scare, and what you saw was an episiotomy. I didn't have one, had my baby at home in a water birth, and mine didn't hurt... but it's not something to do lightly! Even the easiest of births involves blood and effort -- they don't call it "labor" for nothing. :) And caring for a confused tiny person right after is sort of overwhelming.
