Wow some people are delusional, he's obviously still moving. Make a play on the ball, everytime someone post battier up he flops, it's digusting......play defense. Stop falling and flopping

Wow. You only need to look at the defensive positioning of Battier alongside the illegal and aggressive push of the arm by Stoudemire in order to determine that it was good defence on Batter's part (NOT a flop - not even close) and simply a poor offensive decision by Stoudemire. History has little to do with this one individual play, after all, the referee in position isn't weighing up a dozen or so factors and implications in making a certain call; rather, a referee calls what he sees. Simple.

Another thing Shane Battier doesn't get that call playing with Yao Ming but all of the sudden gets the benefit of the doubt play with Lebron. The purpose of playing defense is to make a play on the ball, not to flail and flop, thats goofy and unwatchable

    1. I agree on your first point on LeBron, however I fail to see the true necessity in targeting him, as the issue of off-arm contact is a part of most NBA games, and what is deemed as 'legal' and 'disadvantaging' is something that is defined based on split-second observations.

    2. Your next observation is, again, a huge reality in the NBA; not specific to star players.

    3. On your last point: that's the general consensus in fans, but I feel that it's over-applied, particularly in the playoffs.

If there's one thing I do know it's the ends and outs of basketball. Lebron uses his off arm alot to gain advantage and in the rule book that's a foul. He often takes 3 to 4 steps on plays at the rim. Last year he threw the ball of the back of the backboard and it wasn't called out of bounds. Fact is NBA players aren't on the same playing field when if comes to officiating, nothing in the rule book states they should make an exception for certain individuals because they make more profit.

There's always that one guy who turns into the biggest keyboard warrior by attacking LeBron when he was barely in the conversation. Until you learn to respond to what a comment is *really* about, you're the one who needs to STFU, big time.
