This film documents the trials, tribulations and struggles of Haitian women from various walks of life as they ardently work to maintain their family, advocate for human rights and strive to empower other women. As Haiti's women endure insurmountable socio-economic challenges that include but not limited to deep insecurity, looming threat of violence and systematic poverty, these women continue to bear the legacy of Resilience that has characterized Haiti since it gained its independence from the French over 200 years ago.
Stop asking for governments help!! Help your damn selves. That is the problem with people. The government will give you false protection under the guise that they take your liberties away one by one until you are sub servant to the rule of government. You are your own sovereign being. Own yourself and your rights. And women aren't the only ones struggling in Haiti. PEOPLE IN GENERAL STRUGGE!!!! Lets stop with the woman/man myth. We need eachother. If one struggles so does the other.

Ever heard of Pan-Africanism thats what Haiti needs hell they start by doing little things like joining with the rest of the Black Diaspora & create economic trade! Haitians got the land & African Americans have the resources such as HBCUs & the 3rd largest buying power in America!
