London Compliance Day 1

The fourth annual International Medical Device Industry Compliance Conference took place May 18-20, 2011, in London, England. Industry executives, compliance and legal officers from companies large and small, and as well as government officials and outside counsel, discussed current global compliance challenges confronting the medical technology industry and shared best practices for dealing with those challenges.

The conference was sponsored by the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), Eucomed, and more than a dozen industry associations from around the world.

Highlighting the conference was a panel discussion featuring several CEOs to discuss key compliance issues in medical technology, and the addition of six new trade associations to the Global Compliance Agreement on ethical collaborations between medical technology companies and health care providers.
