Cherokee towing another Cherokee

Here we used an A-Frame Tow Bar to tow a 1988 Jeep Cherokee (Red) with a 1999 Jeep Cherokee (White). Acceleration, braking, suspension dynamics and stability were tested during the traveled distance to verify the tow worthiness of both vehicles.

Thats cool so you just put in neutral unlock the steering and it will trail the tow vehical. Can you reverse?

Pretty much it, transmission in neutral with an unlocked steering wheel and the back vehicle will follow or track the front vehicle. Unfortunately, it doesn't works the same way in reverse. Once you back up a few feet, it will turn the wheel completely to one side or the other and it will be hard to move. If you keep on pushing it, it may scrub the tires over the pavement, but you risk bending or damaging the suspension.

@jomelmaldonado nice video, but well the transmision in neutral it´s adecuate for manual transmission but if its automatic i heard it´s possible use the neutral of transfer case (if have neutral the transfer case) or pull all the drive shaft
