How to Fire a Glock 18

Spencer Rands, the ASDI Founding Instructor, demonstrates how to use the Glock 18. The Glock 18 is a fully automatic Glock pistol. It can be equiped with a 33 round magazine and will shoot as long as you hold the trigger. This firearm is not for first time shooters and should only be used under the supervision of an experienced shooter.

Often times people will try and modify a Glock 17 to be fully automatic or (full auto) this can be very dangerous and is illegal. It is a federal felony infat and can result in jail time. Find a range with a legally owned Glock 18 and in that way you can be safe and have fun withou breaking any laws.

I noticed several times through out the video Spencer Rands passes his left hand in front of the mussel of his loaded weapon. Is this safe? I don't think so even with your figure off the trigger it's still not a safe practice. I hope they don't train people in this manor or fashion. Under NO circumstance should any part of your body or anyone elses be in front of the business end of a weapon unless pointing at a threat.

@jcwjk I agree that no part of you body should ever cross the muzzle. I am very vigilant about not ever doing that, but when I watched the video it apears like I did. If you put it in HD and slow it down just to check you can see I never cross the muzzle. I believe its due to the poor lighting that the depth perception in this video is odd. And no I don't train people to muzzle themselves LOL. Check it again you will see. Thanks for keeping me honest though.

The third generation Glock 18 only includes the version with compensator (with holes in the top)?. Because i saw a glock 18 non-c in a gun store of my country and the employee told me that is the third generation.

the glock 18 is my favorite gun and this video is a pretty helpful in showing plp how to shoot it
