This is my tribute to Deja Vu. I only went on it oncec, it took place of my favorite ride before it was built too. This is located at Six Flags Great America.

It's more reliable at Silverwood because Vekoma offered to replace many of the old parts because they updated technology. Not because Silverwood is more reliable.
You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

oh my bad.......
just saying i feel bad for everybody who loved vu but im glad it switched to a more reliable park. Instead of it being shut down every minute of every day(mostly) ppl can actually go to silverwood and enjoy it.

Yea. I remember trailblazer. That was the only ride I would ride in the whole park and not that it is gone, it bugs me. But I now ride everything, but I had good memeories on it. I will also be sad when american eagle goes...

Yeah sorry for double posting but I sort of forgot that they also has to be some people who are upset over Deja Vu being torn down.
So yeah. Dosen't it suck to get attached to a ride only to have to deal with the eventually demise of said ride?

So it essentially suffered from the same fate the Giant Wheel did in that they simply didn't want to keep pumping money into something that could be easily replaced with a single feris wheel.
Bummer. :(

You need to knowthewholestory.. Sky Whirl was really old and it was getting really old to handle. So they took it down for Deja Vu. Remember that this istheold managagement. Now, since 2005, the newer team is trying to appeal to families be cause the last people who ran the park only build flat rides.

Then isn't it ironic that they tore down Sky Whirl if they want to appeal to kids?
