I'm a guitarist and I can get this 6 string bass for 300 euros.. Is it a good first bass for a guitarist qualitywise? Is it a wellbuilt instrument?

@websterx9: It is pretty heavy. I can handle it standing for about 30 minutes before my back starts acting up.

Why do you use 6 string bass when you can use just 4 string ? ( playing this song )

@Smovie25: For one thing, if you listen to the bass track, Jason used a 5-string bass. But, I keep my 6-string bass tuned a half-step down at almost all times, which is why I used it.
