Thank you for watching Korean Cuisine with Anna Kim!

Today we are making a Korean Pork dish called Daeji Bulgogi. This is a twist to the regular beef bulgogi. I have listed the ingredients below.

Please watch my other videos!

Ingredients:

- 1 lb. of Pork Loin
- 1/2 of an Onion
- 3 Green Onions
- 1/4 Cup of Soy Sauce
- 3 Tsp of Sugar
- 1/4 Cup of Wine
- 2 Tsp of Sesame Oil
- 1 Tsp of Sesame Seeds
- 2 Cloves of Garlic
- 2 Pieces of Ginger
- 1/4 Cup of Hot Pepper Paste (Go-Chu-Jang)

- Slice the Pork thinly. (It is easier to slice if you put the meat in the freezer for 45 minutes)
- Combine the sliced pork and onions into a bowl.
- Blend together the rest of the ingredients.
- Pour the marinade over the meat.
- Cook on high heat for 4 minutes, mix it around and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Garnish it with sesame seeds and serve with steamed rice.

Enjoy!

Thank you for watching Korean Cuisine and please let me know if you would like me to make a specific dish!

  • Hi there,

I'm glad that you like pork recipe and If you like milder favor of Daeji Bulgogi. Please don't use hot pepper paste and add some more of soy sauce only to make not spicy one.

I am sorry about the I don't have a cook book or cook video published.

    Have a delicious day :)

  • Also, I was able to buy the paste through Amazon.com. So yummy!

  • Hi. I made this the other day and it was great! Just to make sure that I got the recipe correct, are you saying tablespoons or teaspoons? Tablespoons are usually with a capital "t" (Tbsp) and teaspoon is with a lower-case "t" (tsp). I used teaspoons. I just want to make sure I got it right. Thanks for the great recipe!

  • @koreancuisine I finally got the Magic Bullet, and the Go-Chu-Jang! For months I finally found a place where they sell the Go-Chu-Jang and unfortunately is a 4hours drive, but I bought a REALLY big one! so it can last. I master your Bulgogi and that food is amazing! but over the month that past all the other food I make are no master piece compare to your Bulgogi, now that I finally got the Go-Chu-Jang, I can finally make the pork! I just hope it comes out as good as Korea! Keep up the good work

  • jammin musik hehe gj

  • Hi thank you for the video you are very helpful. I just tried making this dish and I cooked on high heat for only 3 minutes and it was already done. When I ate it, it was very rough and dry texture. Is it supposed to taste like that? How do I cook it more tender? Is the problem the meat or the way I am cooking it? Thank you :) !

  • I just got my first paycheck out of college and the first thing I bought was the necessaries for pork bulgogi... I fell in love with the dish at a Korean restaurant in Champaign Illinois called Woori Jib, and if my dish tastes half as good as theirs did I'll be a happy man haha

  • i love your videos! really into korean culture but i'm underage. is there a good substitute for the wine? can u recommend what i can use instead of the wine?
