Many African Americans have long hair. WE CUT AND PERM OUR HAIR ALOT. My mom had really long hair, possibly almost long as hers, but she cut it.

my hair grew alot wen i only relaxed it every 6-8 months but i wasnt as knowledgable so i now am relaxed with new growth and the beautician also CUT MY DARN LONG HAIR SO NOW ITS TO THE BOTTOM of my neck. sheesh but what can i do to make my new growth str8 in the mean time to keep from getting a touch up
