  • @gorillaz21st Thanks so much! I'm really glad you like it! :-)

  • the bbc actually used this idea and music in the last episode, surely some sorta patent in there

  • LOL! I wish there was - but I'm pretty sure the Beeb can do what they like with their own show! :-)

  • this was the best tv series in years and the fact it was set in the 80s was what made it so epic along with the great characters! i hope they make something else made in the 80's and as good as ashes to ashes was! also life on mars was very good to!

  • Cool..and ironic that this was used in the last episode if series 3 :)

  • awesome song awesome programme awesome characters awesome video

    thanks x

  • This is perfection! :D

  • Thank you!!! :-)

Yeah, it's funny but the song actually came out in 1981 (hence why I used it for this 1981-set Series 1 vid) and then they used the song in Series 2 (set in 1982)!

That is a great scene! :-) Though I still like the scene where Alex finally tells Gene she's from the future - but he doesn't believe her! I keep willing him to believe it! LOL

  • This is one of the best Ashes fan vids I have ever seen! Normally I can't stand Phil Collins but this tune is an exception. You probably know this, but it actually was used in episode 2 of the second series when Gene phones his predecessor as DCI, Mr Garrett "why d'yer quit Garrett?" Still one of the best scenes ever in Ashes to Ashes, IMO

  • ashes to ashes was brilliant life on mars was great too ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

  • Pure brilliance.
