@NightViewer00 Thanks, I've been playing since I was 14 so well over 15 years! but I'd say it took about 4 years to get very competent and around 6 to start impressing other guitar players, I think it all depends on how quick you take to it, people like Steve Vai were WAY better then I'm ever going to be by the age of 19! so it all depends. Satriani would say it's not a race and that it's worth the wait to find your voice :)
