Carolina Cup International Regatta 2009

This short clip is from the Carolina Cup International Regatta in Elizabeth City, NC. This was part of a pretty tight race in one of the faster classes of boats, the 5 liter unmodified class I think. (correct me if I'm wrong, please!)

This clip was taken with an EOS Rebel T1i and a EF 100-400mm telephoto zoom lens at 720P/30fps. I completely forgot to switch the IS to Mode 2 (D'oh!), and that combined with my own jittery camera work makes for a bit of a shaky shot, but it still looks pretty darn good for an SLR that also shoots HD as a side benefit.
