Thanks for uploading. I live in Penang too and I didn't have a clue how bad the tsunami was but I was glad my family was nowhere near the coast then. Don't let some Asians or Foreigners get to you. I understand that sometimes out of excitement, it is natural to laugh. Hey, I'm asian too, literally seriously! Regardless where, there are always mean people. 'Haters Shithead' is what I call them. I just rather be neutral because sometimes others have made it shameful for me to call myself human.

If my school was ruined i would be so happy, so of course he is laughing. We were watching it first hand, not watching tv like the rest of you, listening to what had occur everywhere else, and hearing the damage it had caused. For all we need it was a random wave that nature produced that didnt hurt anyone, we didnt have a view of the whole asia you know

He's fucking laughing because the water went into his school.They are laughing because they were amazed at how easy the car's were moved! they were devestated-why would they be laughing if people were dying, We felt the quake we saw a single wave wash out cars, but from what we saw from our apartment everyone was safe. how the hell we at were suppose to know that people were fucking dying. i have friends that died that day. So don't you dare say that your sorry that it wasnt our asses down there

Even though there was laughing we can look beyond that and realise that they will still be affected by this experience for life because they were still there to see the aftermarth and death and that is the hardest thing to live on with. Thanks for sharing and sorry about your friend.

He is my son, who at 14 had no idea of the immensity of this tragedy. No one else really knew either until some time later. We lost a very dear friend in Phuket because of this tsunami. RIP Rhonda Butler.
