  • bobbyjudo, you should list the words on the sidebar. Great lesson!

  • Done and done. Good looking out.

  • ローマ字を使うな!!だめだめだめだめだめぇ〜!!

Super lesson though! I'm learning so much from you. :)

  • :(

Sorrrrrrry.... I'm still trying to figure out my niche. I guess it's a romaji-less niche.

    Thanks!

  • This video is awesome! I already knew what high tension means in Japanese, because I watch a lot of japanese variety TV shows (with subtitles) and they seem to use that expression a lot (specially in shows hosted by Arashi, whish are like 99% of the shows I watch. I just love them).

  • Yeah, tv personalities can be pretty high tension! Hope you like my next vid too.

  • 日本人ですが逆に英語でのハイテンションの意味が分かってよかったです。和製英語だと知らずに変な使い方しかねないですからね。ありがとう。

  • I like it!.... again!! :)

  • Another one that has a different meaning is naive (ナイーブ). The tension one really annoys me though, as it's an example of the let's-go-out-of-our-way-to-use-English-even-though-perfectly-suitable-Japanese-already-exists way of thinking, and nowadays I'm hearing it all the time

  • Subscribed!

  • Was wondering where in Japan you guys live?

  • 何歳かな

  • 緊迫した状態ってのが正しい訳だろうね。

  • you could also use: ドキドキをしています.if your heart is beating really fast and you are nervous. Like the people involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis.

  • My sister-in-law is very いっしょくそくはつ。

  • in other word HI TENSION is the Japanese way of saying IM ON FIRE OR HE IS ON FIRE etc
