Now on GoogleBooks http://base.google.com/base/s2?authorid=3960054&hl=en&gl=US Voice of America radio personality Carol Pearson interview David Livianu on his work in Eastern Europe and the publication of his work in 1994, The Official Guide to Adoptions in Eastern Europe.
David Livianu is originally from Romania, now a proud US citizen since 1986, living in NYC. He is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music. Since 1990 he has been involved in helping Romania's orphans.
His latest project since Romania closed its doors on international adoptions in 2001, was to research and document the adoption laws and procedures for all 194 countries of the world.
The goal: to make all the critical decision making information available to parents and adoption professionals...thus reducing the exorbitant costs and the inordinate waiting time!
The project is just finished and you can see details of the 12 e-books (16,500 pages) and 2 audio libraries (2,241 mp3 tracks - 50 hours) at Google Books link:
