  • @JellyTray There is a difference in diction between American-Latin vs European-Latin, is that what you mean?

  • You are a lucky guy! A great piece to sing and great to be part of a choir who can handle this quite challenging work. Good luck!

  • I discovered this song in High School. I always loved baroque music. I felt I had to be secretive about it because all the black kids in my area had boom boxes with loud soul music blaring out. One day my father told me to wait for my sister at the bus stop. While walking to the bus stop I put a tape in my boom box and played this while waiting not caring what kind of looks I was getting and I FELT GOOOD!! I still love this piece but am still trying to find the Roger Wagner Corale recording

  • @gibshillpics you didn't have to just point out that it was black kids man it's easy enough to say that kids played loud soul music or loud music that is not my type...if you don't look past peoples color then you won't get anywhere(one christian to another assuming you are one). (no this is not a "i think you're being racist" comment just an observation on how you worded this)

  • I love this. It's so beautiful.

  • @ bartje11: Thank you for this great video. But the name of the choir is "Dresdner Kreuzchor", in English "Choir of the holy cross Dresden"

  • The phrase is Jubilate Deo, omnis terra, Alleluia

It translates from the Latin as Shout with joy to God, all over the Earth, Alleluia

  • @pokemontrainernob me too.

  • Doing This In My Middle School Chorus! Sounds Kinda Wierd On This
