what kinda queer can you hear singing in the background? Not appropriate for kids.

We really don't have a clue how it was made. It was a one of a kind creation made 60 years ago. If it goes out, it's over. We wouldn't know how to recreate it. Good luck! I hope you can figure something out.

oh ok... is it a one of a kind creation? or can i find instructions or plans somewhere? im 16 and make my own Christmas decorations and put up 5000+ lights myself. i would love to have something like your sleigh and reindeer. (mabe with just 2 reindeer?) ANY tips, ideas etc. on building my own would be amazing! :)

It has an electric motor with 4 different pulleys to slow the speed down. The shafts are mounted on wooden blocks with pulleys and belts. It was built in 1950. To be honest, it's an amazing setup!

can you explain how the mechanism on the reindeer work? im interested in making one...

Yea I wish people went all out for Christmas in my neighborhood. It looks great. The only thing that's missing is the snowy cold weather, and the presents with a christmas story on.

Most of the things in our yard are vintage. The Jack in the Box and the big spinning top were bought from our local mall when they were upgrading the Santa House. They are from the 70's. The Ferris Wheel was made in 1951 and was displayed at a home here in Wichita Falls for about 20 years and then put in storage until it was given to us.

Believe it our not, it is not too bad. The bill goes up about $150 more between Thanksgiving Day and New Years Day. It's worth it though as a gift to all of the people who come by to see it every year!
