If ppl get angry over Google street view vans catching them in "unfortunate situations" on STILL PICTURES, how about getting monitored -unknowingly- REAL TIME in this fashion by 'your "neighbour"?
Orwellian!!

If you go to bing maps slash explore, you'll be able to use a bunch of what he's showing here. Only the live video isn't available right now.

Hi, I know exactly what you mean. There's so much more potential than just using it in Silverlight for Deep Zoom on images.
One thing you need to realize is that Seadragon needs images to be internally structured differently than most images are, so you would need to convert all your images to its format which would mean that most image programs wouldn't understand how to open them properly. It would also mean much more of your hard drive being used for thumbnails, essentially.

I still can't wait for Seadragon to become available as a file viewer. I really want that, and it's been 3 years since it was TED talked.
