I don't care what anyone says, this is a monster. I am 43 and did this workout for the first time two years ago. Thought I would die. Took me over 22 minutes. This past summer I did it in 14:48. I am DAMN impressed with myself. Try it. It is a very safe workout and all you need is a pull-up bar that is a bit out of reach for you while standing flat-footed. Check out Greg Amundson doing this workout on the internet. It is typically called "GI Jane".
Burpee's aren't about how perfect these movements are, it's how it's done without rest. It's a push-up to a pull-up. It doesn't have to be perfect. It has to be done without rest. 100 Would give you an incredible score at the PFT.
Yes, I have answered this a couple of times now. This is a endurance workout for your entire body. Just try it your self, then come back here and let me know what you feel about it.
Those of you criticizing the details of his workout have obviously never done this. I am very impressed b/c I have done these and it is one tough workout.

For this workout, do you gradually build up to this point, or do you always do 100 burpees and just try and beat your previous times?
