my right hand goes numb if I throw the yarn, for me its faster and more efficient feeling to pick the yarn thru with the needle. I couldnt imagine getting any real progress done throwing all the time, but its just a choice of habit either way. We all do it for fun--and it IS ADDICTIVE!

You are super fast!!!! Wow! I just learned how to "throw" the yarn like that with the fingers. I noticed that using fingers to wrap the yarn around the right needle is faster and efficient than using the whole hand. The method in which a person uses their whole hand to wrap the yarn should be called cranking(LOL).

I also noticed that you use your left thumb to push the finished stitch on to the wide part of the right needle to gain tension. For a beginner like me, the "throw" method of knitting helps me pay more attention to the knitting pattern. Your method may turn me away from being a picker b/c my continential method is uneven in tension. Thanks for adding this video!
