@ancfra Using a clients gold is a great way to preserve the sentimental value of their gold. The rings can be made to the clients own specifications.
We are able to resize the ring afterwards, no problem, using a wedding ring stretcher and reducer if need be.
Sure there are easier ways but lets recycle the old gold, its much cheaper these days what with gold price as it now.

its MY PRECIOUS!
Brilliant :D To save having to reach back around that extrusion roller every time, I would suggest having a piece of sheet metal stretch from behind it and curve downwards to the front underneath the roller so it will catch the metal once its left one end of the roller. With a small lip to stop it sliding onto the floor. Might save a little bit of time and time = money ;)

@Nanovirus5995 It is important to pass the ingot the same way round each time you roll it as the crystaline structure of the metal causes the metal if the ingot is passed through at a different end each time.

Great video! I am a fan of yours and I am thinking to register on your website.
I have one question...when you melt scrap gold (old rings, earrings...etc.) to make new items is no risk regarding the quality of the karat?
I imagine that in different items are many different metals like silver and cooper and such...
Is enough to melt the scrap and use some borax powder to consider the finished product a quality item? I ask because on internet I read many opinions about refining.
Thank you

@relu777 All the metals will mix.
The finished product is as good as new when finished.
