  • can you give us your opinion of this machine...is it worth it?

  • @clipbrowser

hello. kronos is an amazing piece of hardware. the weakiest point i think is the guitar sounds, i hope korg will adress this in future soundsets. and with the SSD, you can stream samples, they should come with amazing libraries. More, an update will available in october, you will be able to connect nanopad or any midi compliant device to the kronos. Finally, the plug in editor should be available in november...that's great news !!

  • Hey, can you give me some of your equipment, I'd really appreciate it. Lol, it was worth a shot. Nice setup and thanks for the beautiful music! Peace

  • @VenVile

    thanx a lot :-)

  • This is the worst sounding piece of Sh......t Cr.....p Synth Korg has engineered. I have two Oasys synths that I am very satisfied with and this Kronos sounds nothing like an Oasys. I will dish out the extra dollars to get a Roland jupiter 80. I had a Roland jupiter 8 for 30 years. Nothing against the player or video just Korg. Be careful with Korg they will not support anything much over a year or two which is bogus.

  • @imun1ty

i used to have an oasys too, so i can understand you. please aware that kronos used the same engines and DAC as the oasys, so the sound quality is the same and even better concerning drums, ep and piano (new engines and sounds)

  • GOOD!

  • respectable home studio but poor demo show room

  • Hey man. I really like your setup. Looks like it offers a smooth workflow. Question. Where did you get those risers for your near filed monitors? Im looking everywhere for something practical. Thanks-Dave

  • Sounds very nice and clean. I'm not sure if that is a compliment or not.

  • I have to say I'm pretty sure I was getting all of this from the triton, especially the Triton Extreme I use now. But to be fair it's going to take time to get into the bowels of it to wrestle out the sounds that it can generate that no other can. However if you have a computer with Cubase 5+ and Toontrack Superior Drummer or BFD and thus have no need of a workstation keyboard I'm not sure why you would want this. Looking forward to finding one in a store to have a go on.

  • @BlouseFashion heh yeah, sorry if I'm tense. It's hard to tell over the internet. But yeah software+hardware=otherworldy setup.

  • @SilverfangX777 Then if you can afford one your argument dont stand up and you say you have not tested one either?

I would love to see a video of you making music on a $500 ssd drive lol.

Im breaking your balls mate dont take me seriously we all do whatever we feel is right.

    All the best.

  • @BlouseFashion Another thing is that you can get a 1tb ssd for $500. "You say what you say because you cant afford one!". This wasn't necessary, I could easily go out and test one, or I can easily rent one as well.
