Unfortunately, that's the way it is. Beyond the basics, different names do crop up for moves in salsa.
Coca-cola is a reasonably common one though - as salsamonkey08 says, it comes from cuban casino (e.g. "Siete con Coca-Cola"). NY dancers normally just call it "360 degree".
There is another LA style move sometimes called "Coca-Cola" with hip & shoulder CBLs - in my rueda class we call it "Coca-Cola Hip" to distinguish from the 360 degree turn.

Why does he call it a coca cola? None of my searches for a coca cola turns up anything like this. It's mostly hip/shoulder turns. Frustrating trying to learn from videos when everyone calls things by different names

coca cola is the term used in cuban (casino style salsa) for 360 cross body lead. He probably uses the term because he first learned the move from a casino style teacher. They have all kinds of interesting names for different moves in the casino style; for example, a cross body lead is called a "dile que no" while an inside turn is called an "enchufla".
