Accelerate pre-visualization and virtual movie-making production with new 3D Editorial capabilities in Maya. The new Camera Sequencer enables artists to layout and manage multiple camera shots in a single animation sequence. Start laying out shots in Maya, or import an EDL in FCP or AAF formats from editorial with associated movie, audio, and time code information. Then change the timings of shots, create alternate versions, and use Playblast to playback and review the sequence before optionally re-exporting an EDL to editorial for further refinement.

blender , C4d , XSI , Maya , xna , mari , modo , etc and etc ...
if they can all do exactly the same stuff and no one of them is better than the other ...

I am in my first year of university and I'm studying Digital Animation. I will be on completion putting all my animations onto Youtube. Even though I only have Animation created on Maya so far there are more coming.
I would really appreciate if people would subscribe to my channel or even just give me some constructive comments about them so i am able to enhance my skills.

once again maya creates something great that is not complete !!
you should be able to bring in trax clips and poses directly into the Camera sequencer....Basically what I"m saying is the Camera sequencer and Trax should be one complete system so you can truly work in a non linear way !! C'mon Autodesk stop teasing me and fix trax and integrate it with the camera sequencer

It is very unfortunate that it appears the Camera Sequencer and Maya's Trax editor are not integrated. ....Maybe I'm wrong about this.
It seems to me the camera sequencer is a great feature but you should be able to put your character clips and poses on the same timeline and work together.
Please Autodesk make this possible your so close but still to far with this.
