"EAGLE EYE"
Homefront it worked good in all directions.
Black ops works good in all directions slight jitter in vertical. Very fast hand to screen movements.
Killzone 3 good in all directions no jitter.




"XIM3"
Homefront Using standard "diagonal" was off so I tried a Smart translator advanced and it ironed out the diagonal issue I had. My vertical is "slightly" jittery compared to Standard but it is tolerable.
Black ops it performed very smooth and fast.
KILLZONE 3 used Standard good in all directions.


"AIMONps"
Homefront smooth overall used the same firmware "MAG"
Black ops performed well.
Killzone 3 performed well, I still gotta tune more overall it was smooth in all games. Used the Killzone 3+.

XIM3 takes a lot of time tuning to get the right combination of Smart translators or Standard with each particular game. I tried MW2 smart in MW2 and I found the diagonal was not mirroring my hand movement so I use standard.

For instance I had to use L4D2 Smart advanced tuning to get the performance I wanted. I tried Black ops smart and it did not turn out good at all. I also tried Standard with square deadzone which was good but I was losing linear lines going from left to right also vertical lines going up and down.
So don't get discouraged if you are a ps3 user wanting xim3 you need to put in the time tuning per game to get the most performance out of it.

Now down to which suits you the best.

Need keyboard and mouse? Either Eagle eye or Xim3.
Need Turbo ? Eagle eye or Aimonps.
Need sixaxis? Aimonps
Need dual platform capabilities Xim3. with $7 adapter

All 3 have very active communities and lots of help tuning.

So eh, can the XIM3 work for PS3?

@keshaz12 Yes with an adapter and xbox 360 controller it will work. Around $160+ $25-30 and the adapter maybe $7. About $200 to get it running on ps3.

@BiGBaRZz Yea I have my xim3 at -25 and sometimes -50 acceleration. Still slightly behind the eagle eye and aimon when making quick twitch wrist movements to 2 points. I did a video of this it's up under input lag. I compare the xim3 and aimon to show what I'm talking about. Keep in mind I have well over 300 hours logged on my xim3 and I have tried so many settings and multiple mice and displays. I show the xim3 performing better on an lcd monitor than lcd tv. Input lag shows even more

@TEAMGODdotNET I use a Razer Deathadder 1800 dpi. On the eagle eye the distance the crosshair in game goes depends on the speed at which you move your mouse so it must have a lot of acceleration. Does the Xim 3 have a system to remove acceleration? because it would be easier to aim precisely if it did

@BiGBaRZz I dont know what mouse you are using or dpi or settings. But according to mx518 1600 dpi and my settings I still can't get my xim3 to compete with it in fast movements compared to how fast my hand moves and the translation to screen movements.

@TEAMGODdotNET In terms of mouse acceleration how does eagleeye 360 compare with the xim3? I have got eagle eye and there is a lot of acceleration which makes it difficult to aim consistently
