Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is an old video but still sends me clients. For the record, reclaiming wash water in Austin is only required in certain situations. 1) downtown 2) when using hot water over an aquifer recharge zone 3) when in Stage 2-3 water restrictions. I market in other areas of town so I don't have to have a $4500 water reclamation system and pass along the expense to my clients. In the end, we both win. Take care.

You like to work for nothing I see or is it a really old video?
You also never showed how you reclaim your wash water or is that not regulated in your area? Would be good to add this so homeowners realize that wash water in the creek is no good. OK

Can you use cold water ? Is 4000 psi at 3.5 gpm cold water OK?

Yes, you'll be just fine using this tool with cold water or hot water. Each surface cleaner will have different specs, but most should be able to handle the type of machine you described. Because the surface cleaner has two nozzles on it, the PSI will be cut in half, but you will still have good water volume (GPM) and that will help make the job go faster. Thanks for the question!
