Also, the best treatment for BPD is dialectical behavior therapy. This therapy was created by Marsha Linehan, a researcher and clinician. Linehan's work has not only provided hope, empathy, and understanding for individuals with BPD, but it is also proving helpful in treatment for people with other issues. Marsha Linehan herself just came out last week that she is a recovered borderline.

"They're out living their lives, partying, having fun, not thinking about that other person..." That isn't true. I am a recovered borderline. Yes, I have hurt people in the past. Yes, people have hurt me in the past. BUT - I regret all of the mistakes that I have made just as a healthy person feels regret and remorse. Also, anti social personality disorder and BPD are two very different things. I feel empathy, as do all the other borderlines I know.
I understand. Not all symptoms are typical. Everyone with any disorder or mental illness can report that they don't experience ALL of the symptoms and that they deal with some symptoms more than others. These are just general symptoms.

The sound skips a bit towards the end but it goes all of the way through though the video continues on and looks as if I'm still talking but that's just the video catching up to itself.
