{NOTE: HAND HELD WITH SHAKES} About a month ago I decided to try using colored filters on my "hacked" Sony HDR-HC9. After using red, and yellow I then used a green filter. The latter produced green skies with magenta foliage. When editing I tried to get the look of Kodak's 35mm color infrared slide film EIR (discontinued by Kodak several years ago) as one would get with using the standard yellow #12 filter over the camera lens while using that film: Deep blue saturated skies with red foliage. Well after folling around with the hue setting, saturation and the color correction sliders I got the deep blue sky..............but I wound up with orange foliage. The orange cast could be created on the old EIR film by using a red filter. This also produced green skies. So the end result was a combination of the blue sky with orange leaves.
Try getting 4 or 5 layers of Congo Blue lighting gels (no red gels, just the blues) on a bright sunny day and look through them at the trees (with green leaves) and grass (with your eyes).
Just DON'T look at the sun. You will see what I mean (if you haven't tried that already)
"Tripping balls"...haha i'd say your test was sucessful

I MIGHT try this again as the leaves change colors. We'll see.
