  • This is such a difficult song to sing. Great job guys!

  • Looking back on this video I admit there are many things I wish I could fix. But, as it was stated before, we were 16-17 year-olds trying to conquer an extremely difficult show while also performing in other productions as major roles. I stand by my performance whole heartedly. It was an amazing experience from which I have grown substantially. I appreciate everything the directors gave me. Remember, we too are human and have feelings, so please keep your criticism constructive and not cruel.

  • @thaddadian perhaps there are many things going on with the level of performance. This production was rehearsed for one hour a day for four weeks. All of these teenagers were also leads in other shows at the same time. Learning multiple roles at the same time is a crazy thing. When it comes to youth theatre, the experience of playing a role and the journey each student takes growing along the way always comes first.

  • @DravdeGeirg i just finished the light in the piazza last week... with foothill theater workshop... i was guissepie... i learned everything fine... we had 6 weeks... thats it... the fabrisio performer came 4 weeks late... so he only had two weeks to perform... TWO WEEKS.... and he had perfect Italian diction... look.... it all depends on the director... in my case, we had a good one,... in this videos case... they had a bad one... im sorry, but its the truth.

  • @thaddadian Frenchwoods is a camp! Before you go around insulting the actors, take into consideration that they are 14-17, and they only have a few weeks to put on such a difficult show. Incase you hadn't noticed, that is not enough time to learn Italian fluently. How about you say something good about it, which I personally think would not be that hard with such an excellent production, instead of ranting about his slightly incorrect Italian.

  • this is just sad and pathetic... the singer for Fabrizio cant even speak italian correctly... who ever directed this scene should be replaced – permanently!

  • or F#'s... i dunno

  • You belt those F's Franca

  • I also believe it would have been better had a real speaker of Italian instructed the actors. Was this an honors festival? If so, Frenchwood needs to take more care in what it presents.

  • Not going to lie: this was not great. Whoever changed the Italian was wrong to do so. "Amore" is masculine no matter who it refers to.
