My school's environment club is promoting "Save the Bear" this year and this video is recommended to the school teachers to show to their students. When I showed the video to a class of 9-year-olds yesterday, they went completely quiet. (usually they tend to talk non-stop)

I was diagnosed with primary Biliary cirrhosis over 20 years ago and also given a prognosis of 3 years to live.

I was offered Ursodeoxycholic Acid to treat my illness, which I intially accepted. But after finding out how bears were exploited to make this medicine I refused to take it. I could not have lived with the thought that another earthling was being exploited to treat my illness.I control my chronic illness with complimentary therapies,meditation, good diet and exercise.

Thank you. I just got into an argument with my neighbor tonight because I seen her daughter hit their dog several times and I told her to stop it! The mother came over and chewed me out but I never backed down. I told that woman to get her ass back inside her house and teach her kids NEVER to abuse animals or the next time I see it, the cops will be knocking on their front door!

Animals senses are much stronger than ours; smell, sight, the sensitivity of skin, hearing. Science has proven their nerve system is much sharper than ours. Animals who are abused, or situations where fellow animals are slaughtered and when they are forced to watch it, experience this as intense or maybe more intense than we do.

I completely agree! I can only pray that this video along with my poem will help to make a difference in the lives of these bears and bring awareness to this situation!

Please, boycott ALL products that contain bear bile. Let China know that we will not tolerate such vile treatment of such beautiful animals!
