In an exclusive interview with FRANCE 24, Reza Pahlavi, Iran's former crown prince and the son of the last Shah of Iran, noted that Western powers have arrived at a sort of crossroads in their dealings with Iran. He said it was now very critical to see where the world stands when it comes to choosing a camp. "You either have to support the people of Iran in their quest for freedom, or yet again be indifferent toward them, which will only contribute to the prolonging of the clerical regime", Pahlavi said.

Pahlavi suggested that countries could back up their rhetoric with visible action, "such as recalling ambassadors from Iran, to show the regime that this behaviour will not be tolerated."

He also said that the contentious relationship between Iran and the West would be resolved by a regime change: Once Iran achieves a different form of government which is democratic, all threats, including anything the world is focusing on such as the nuclear threat, will also dissipate, he said.

  • For Latest News from Iran and around the world .

  • Then the CIA perpetrated the coup d'état, in collaboration with the Brits and betrayed by some corrupt, ” money loving life loving” generals and by pouring dollars in Iran .. It’s time of enlightens, I am really surprised why you guy still living in the past offering your worthless services and propagandas’ to your own enemies.

  • Dear Shah the ppl. in Iran need you now,plz hepl them caz u are the great leader and the only one!!hope see u soon as a leader in Tehran!!God bless!!thanx

  • i think u should mind your own business, you dont realy understand the situation.i think u shouldnt be judging him or us mr pahlavi cant come to iran and make orders or something like that just like mousavi , actually nobody is protecting us clearly , but im sure hes (prince) doing his best for us and hes the most democratic person ive ever seen in my whole life

  • I've been reading and watching vids of the unrest. I didn't realize it was so intense. From this I have to say that it won't be long before the islamist regime and its monsters will be hanging from lamposts, as Mussolini was in Italy. Iran: Don't believe that the American Nation is totally ignorant of your struggle. There are those of us who know that Iran isn't our enemy; it is the stupid regime. May the fleas of a thousand dogs infest them, may God damn them to hell.

  • I am so disappointed. He is not doing enought at all!Everyday I search youtube to hear something from him and nothing is there to be found.I am not desperate and Iranians are not that desperate or stupid to accept leaders who are not working with them and for them.Sometimes I think is there a hand behind all these things and the same hand is keeping him away till people are sooooo thirty for him?! I don't know.I like him to be in Iranian politic and unfortunately I don't see him there!!!
