You sing really good. You need someone who can sing the low parts Righteous Brothers style.

omg. I can't believe you were getting up that high. Great job!
I'm picturing this performance w/ a ukulele. You don't happen to play, do you?

Nope, I play a bit of mandolin and Mandobird (4-string electric mandolin made by Epiphone), though, and I play 12-string acoustic and electric. Why a ukulele, by the way? Do you play an instrument?

The verses made me think of an island Brudda Iz-type interpretation. The singing and strumming.
I play any instrument I can get my hands on. Piano, harmonica, flute, trumpet, drums, but I'm way better at stringed instruments - guitar, bass, cello, violin, and I tried the uke but realized I need better than a decoration to get decent intonation. lol

Ah, you're thinking of the Jules Shear version, which is actually a light reggae. Hence the island reference. The rhythm guitar I play here is probably closer to the Shear version than the Lauper version.
