Helen Slater was so perfect as Supergirl. It's a shame the rest of the movie wasn't as great as her performance.

Fun Fact: In 1978, the producers of Superman approached Jerry Goldsmith to do the music. However, Mr. Goldsmith was busy doing the music for Star Trek TMP. The producers then turned to John Williams. Had Star Trek TMP not been made when it was, This might have been the Superman theme.

The music for the movie was great but I agree the movie sucked perhaps a new version will be made with a more mature interesting story instead of the cartoony version that the producers of the film made for a quick cash for kiddies!

Wow I Love this soundtrack this Score is so beautiful and Jerry Goldsmith was one of my favorite movie composers ever He did a wonderful Job composing this Brilliant Soundtrack I am a big fan of Jerry's movie Scores this is my favorite Score from Supergirl & I Loved this Movie I don't see what was so bad about it I really enjoyed it it was a really good movie and Helen Slater is a very underrated actress I think she was great as Supergirl and thank you Jerry for your wonderful Scores RIP Jerry
