We went to the Paramount Theatre in Abilene New Year's eve and stayed at the Sparhawk Art Gallery Bed and Breakfast. The owner Donovan Sparhawk shows us his vintage Corvette.

  • Wow, looks like a fun place! What a lot of rocks! Must have taken a long time for him to construct that. LOVE the vette, and that Town Car peaked my curiosity! Towards the end it looks as though you shot some video of the bus? That would be interesting to see!

  • Yes he gave a good demonstration of the bus! I was uploading the video and then went into town while it processed but it must have hit an error...I'll try and upload it again.

  • So who's the "Batmobile Vette" guy?

  • This was the owner of the art gallery and bed/breakfast we stayed at.

  • Nice filming, Retrochad with the Paramount Theater in Abilene with organist1982 and in the beginning of the video, what car did you guys drive in the Abilene and that's a nice black Corvette you film and it looks like the same one I saw in Youtube, of a man and his wife from Japan driving the 1981 black modified Corvette with all 4 mag tire wheels, going to car shows.

Check out this YouTube username of "c3r72m92" check out this video "CORVETTE C3 1981" it looks like the one you film (4:07)

  • Do you have a video of the dodge bus you bought?

  • pretty Vette, I've got myself a 1978 25th ann. two-tone silver Vette with about 46,000 miles on it.

  • Hey, retro- was given your name by another you tube retro freak like us. I have a 1957 rca orthophonic that i bought have playing pretty good, but really want to get it working perfect. He sugest I contact you. Here is the freaky part-I went to high school Abilene Cooper, was friends with dude named Donovan Sparhawk-was hell of a gymnastic guy.I also own a restored 71 vette-I live in DFW wondering if I could deliver or ship my player to you for restoration-will pay for your talent

  • Mr. Sparhawk's got a nice spread. That'd be a place my wife would love to spend time at.

  • Radio looks like an Arvin. Is that right?
