  • In order to achieve the full effect you must be alone, in a house with all the lights out. This applies to any horror film you watch. Darkness and solitude increases the fear factor ten fold.

  • @Seyahhsod or use a pay phone with a dial

  • @crysjumar1 Maybe she thought it was a moochelle obama doll?

  • why the fuck would you buy that shit in the first place.

  • this shit still scares me @ 43 years old.

  • i watched this on uk tv in the 80s. Everyone was talking about this story of the 3. It scared every one that watched it. It might seem tame now but back then it was a real chiller

  • This absolutely scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. I mean, I liked scary stories even back then, but when this one came out it left such an impression in me, that I remember how I felt vividly. I even saw a show recently in which people find Hollywood memoribilia for auctions, and they found this doll. As soon as I saw it, all those feeling came back. This story was way ahead of its time. Pure horror.

  • I know this movie probably seems boring to the young folks today, but I was 5 when I saw this movie. I was told not to, but when my parents went out that night and my older sisters went in other rooms, my other sister and I went in my parents room and watched it. This movie scared me to death. For years I had to look under my bed to make sure the doll wasn't there. There weren't too many scary movies like this back in the 70's, so, to me, this is a classic!

  • @Seyahhsod pusing a plastic dial around to phone a number = boring

  • what was it like to dial a phone?
