@pletonicsolids yes maybe, but they probably memorized the melodies and structures in their head, rehearsed it a thousand times until it was perfect. I doubt that they were counting each new measure like a musical score, because that's distracting. This is coming from a math/jazz saxophonist----i can tell you im not seeing time signatures when i play this music, im just letting it flow out. Time signatures are just a way of classifying the structural characteristics,
