had those communist bastards acknowledged his hard work and effort, i strongly believe that legasov would not have felt useless and thus not ending his life the way he did...Legasov was truely an honorable man, a very important man involved in the chernobyl accident, he truely cared so much and always did more than what was asked of him...Valery Legasov, a great, brave, hardworking man.. a man that never got the praise and acknowledgement that he rightfully deserved.

and***..... Legasov was constantly fighting for the people and for the safety of the people- he had the balls to stand up for what he believed in and what he honostly thought, he went up to say it, and thats why those fuckin bastard soviets had something against him and didnt award him the heros medal, a medal which he so rightfuly deserved...and to not publish his work and not award him the medal until after his death.. is like a slap in the face...a personal insult

Valery Legasov was one of the most significant heros of the many men involved in helping with the chernobyl accident. he dedicated himself to saving the people (by standing up for them when nobody had the balls to evacuate pripyat without official orders) he stood up and let his voice be heard without fear of the soviet union (at that time no one dared to speak out or go against anything regarding the soviet union) but he believed that the people come before the state abd so he did what he could
