VESON231: hookah can't produce tar. Tobacco needs to burn at a minim of 800 degrees to produce tar. Hookah tobacco does not burn, it bakes at a max of 350 degrees.

IRISHAIRMEN09: Simple math:

A hookah coal burns between 350 and 450 degrees

Tobacco vaporizes at 250 to 350 degrees

A cigarette burns at 750 to 1700 degrees

Nicotine boils at 477 degrees

not smoke, vapors of tobacco and nicotine, the "smoke" look is the glycerin in the molasses that all Shisha is cured in, the same effect is achieved by a fog machine, the "fog juice" used has high concentrations of glycerin, and is completely safe to inhale, as we all know

  • oh, and any smoke that did become hot enough to burn and carry the chemicals, which is unlikely, would be cooled and caught by the water. And don't take my word on this, but if its cooled wouldn't the chemicals be reduced, if not stopped all together? Idk, im not sure how the chemicals work when cooled and subjected to water. Wow, I've been typing and looking into a lot of this. My eyes are wide fucking open, so i guess that's good enough for me. I'll end by saying thanks again for the facts. :)

  • @1MinuteWithDC Thank You for the info, I have a link to site that talks about water filtration, the water is known to remove at least 2 known carcinogens from being inhaled, even if exposed to a wet surface before inhaling. I thought that was interesting, if you want the link I can provide it to you. Just PM me.

  • You are still a pretty cool guy, but i thought you were cool because i thought you chose to smoke shisha instead of marijuana. But after seeing your video about marijuana.

I still subscribed and come to your videos for info advice and help.

  • @TwistedSoulzOwnBF3 Well, I guess everyone has their own view of it, but remember, I use marijuana because I was prescribed it for medication, and I use it as medication. Sorry if that bothers you.

  • You are entertaining as fuck! Love it!

  • Yet you don't smoke the burned product because that's when it becomes harsh and loses flavor. So essentially any toxins that could be produced by the overcooked shisha could not, in all reality, harm anyone. As you stated its vaporized, not burned, as to why a cigarette turns to ash and the shisha is just cooked. This really doesn't affect your argument, i figure i'd just give you this info i found so as to disprove anyone that found this flaw in your info and tried to use it against the argument

  • Ok so one flaw i found in your info is the temp at which the coals burn. The coals burn at a temp similar or a little bit higher than a cigarette. However, the temperature inside the bowl and the tobacco product itself only heats up, does not burn, to a temp of 350 - 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This is why the coals turn to ash like a cigarette does, but the shisha itself only becomes burned/overcooked like that of bread being left in an oven for a long amount of time.

  • You are awesome. I love the hookah community. Most people base their opinions off of what they think and are tolled, not what they know. You, and all these people that took the time to look at the facts, analyze the math, and realize the simple and yet, overlooked science are my heroes. And not just the fact your defending hookah, but the fact you looked at the truth and sciences is awesome. I prefer to believe in what I know, and not what i'm tolled. Thank you for the facts, I'm subbing. :)

  • Amen to everything you said about hookah man.
