Ozzy live in 1982, Diary of a Madman tour. Featuring Brad Gillis on guitar.
Gillis is the second guitarist called to fill the void caused by Randy Rohads' death in march 1982.
First replacement was Bernie Torme' from UK, but the thing didn't work.
So Ozzy's management picked Brad Gillis from the US band Nightranger.
A very skilled musician, with a different "touch". Enjoy !

  • Gillis did a damned good job in Ozzy, don't know how his writing would have been though, would have been interesting.

  • That's awesome! Brad Gillis respects Randy's solo instead of desroying it with his own interpretation which many guitarists would have done.

  • @bigbrokin Well, you go tell Jake E. Lee that. Brad is sloppy and not up to the snuff.

  • @phenix749 Tired old argument my friend. You don't sell close to 100 million records without style or voice.

  • great job! wow...

  • Ozzy knows how to pick the greats when it comes to six strings... Brad was miles above the rest after Randy...

  • ozzy no style no voice good songs but ...

  • Gillis is far away better than Gus G!

  • Brad Gillis's sound and playing are so recognizable.

  • Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhoads-Children Of The Grave (Live Montreal)

  • @vaibanez17 Actually.........Randy's sound and playing fucking rocks during the Montreal show:

wont allow me to post a link to another youtube vid?

I keep forgetting how good his playing and sound was during this show. Remember first hearing this show on the radio a few days or weeks (was only 9) after he died. I recorded it on a cassette player and i was on a high after hearing and couldn't sleep for much of the night i was so overjoyed.
