New Q; I use Rosco and Lee gels and filters, but 3rd partys offer a " paper / limited use" gel for lower wattage lighting. Could you show a demo of the differences between these gel types.
I also find stretch / spandex fabric is great to create sets and backgrounds - a cool way I have found to use it for lighting, is with a large needlework hoop, which I can attach to a stand. Attaching the same fabric to a custom frame made of 1x2, and thumb tacks, also work well.

I know that the videos aren't high in entertainment value but I don't think that's the point. I love watching their video's because I can always learn something from them.
If I want to be entertained I'll watch the grape lady video or something.

Have you experimented with any of the newer led lighting? What are your opinions on the use of "green" lighting which is less wattage, but seems to transmit lumens very well? Could you demonstrate creative uses for such low cost alternative lighting. Thank You !

Check out the link in the description to this video (top right) for an article addressing LED lighting. Also, have you seen our video "Cheap Video Lighting Solutions?"
Hope they help. Cheers.
