Master Class with Matteo Imbruno in Punta Carretas Church, Montevidéo, Uruguay. Since 1997 Matteo Imbruno is organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, the very position that Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck held in the 17th century. http://www.antenna.nl/matteo.imbruno/

  • Matteo is my cousin... :-) ciao Matteo!!

  • You should listen to Lorenzo Ghielmi or Andrea Marcon, to give two examples.

  • yes i know he's italian born. I'm a friend of Matteo and I know he considers himself more dutch than italian: he live in Amsterdam since 18 years. ;-)

  • Yes! He's a great organist indeed, but he's Italian... =)

  • This guy is awesome! One of the best dutch organists!!! Last year I had a lesson from him in Macerata (IT) about Bruhns' Prelude in G major... Marvellous! Great musician, great friend!

P.S. sorry for my bad english :-)))

  • grande Matteo!!!!!!!!

  • Justamente de eso se trata: Cantar con el instrumento usando la acústica del lugar y tener a ésta en cuenta con el toque para que los sonidos no se mezclen por la reverberancia para que la música pueda ser bien expresada y ejecutada.

  • Excellent treatment of the subject
